Bow Tie Knitting Pattern

A dashing knitted bow tie! Perfect for 1 cupcake of Fjordmade self-striping yarn. Tied like a traditional bow tie, but with an i-cord for tying ‘round the neck for less bulk.

Made in 4 pieces. Two mitered bow pieces are grafted together and encased in a knitted loop. An i-cord secures to neck.

Skill Level: Intermediate beginner - should be accustomed to knitting small and willing to brandish a crochet hook.

Yarn: 1 mini-skein/cupcake of fingering weight yarn. 87 yards / 80 meters + a couple feet of scrap yarn.

Needles: US 1.5 /2.5 mm circular needle (any length). Crochet hook size F/5 / 3.75mm or similar size.

Notions: 1 stitch marker, tapestry needle, row counter (or pen & paper).
